OUR PASTOR
Meet Our Pastor
We are delighted to have you visit our church website. It is my privilege to serve as the pastor of Hannahstown Road Baptist Church. I received a degree in Pastoral Theology in 2003. I was ordained by Beth Haven Baptist Church of Sheridan, Michigan, Pastor Kevin Crowell. After serving and training under Pastor Crowell, the Lord directed us to Frederick, Maryland where I worked as youth director and assistant to the Pastor. The Lord called us to Hannahstown Road Baptist Church in the fall of 2006.
My wife Elizabeth grew up in a pastor's home (Pastor Terry Cumberland of Independent Baptist Church, Kingwood, West Virginia). We met at Bible College and married in 2002. God has since blessed us with five children: Daniel, Hannah, Karis, Jessa, and Roscoe.
Our heart-felt prayer is for people to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and become actively involved in a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church that cares for them.
We make no apology for strong preaching, sound doctrine, and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word.
